Thanks.

I'm not taking them off though. I like the look much better with them on. The few 3rd gens I have seen without them look cheap and unfinished. It would also make it look unlowered again, yet it would show too much of the underside of the truck. The roof rack will stay, too, because I actually use it once or twice a year. The handles will be gone eventually, though, and the bumpers/fender trim paint matched.

transmission

is it true you can mess up your tranny with bigger wheels

shave the handles and paint the bumperz and fenders the same as the body. and get chrome side steps to match with the bling. also remove the roof rack. and lower it 3 to 4 more inches and youll have the x you always wanted

i agree, no more roof rack, get chorme steps, paint the trim and lower more if possible. i'd get a roll pan on there, that would make it even more custom. looks good:thumbsup:

LOL. Maybe the X you have always wanted, but not me.

Again, the handles will be shaved soon, along with the antenna and rear emblem. The bumpers, mirrors, side molding, and fender trim will be paint matched.

The roof rack stays. I actually use it, and the looks of it don't bother me at all.

I don't like the look of chrome side steps at all. It would take away from the smooth, clean look I'm going for. No more chrome anywhere to draw attention to any particular part of the truck.

And lol @ lowering it 3-4 more inches! The only way to go lower would be bags. And I'd have to do some serious modification to get the wheels to tuck up under the fenders, which I do not want. I like the idea of bags, but even if I get them it won't be going 3-4 inches lower. There is less than 3 inches of gap between the top of the tire and the fenderwell as it sits. Perfect for me.

LED lights in the back, maybe the black housing lights in the front, leather interior, sunroof, signal mirrors, limited front bumper w/ foglights, and I'm done.

Thanks for the comments, though. It's cool to see different opinions. Just goes to show that we are all individuals, which is why I am customizing my truck in the first place.

what happened to the pics?
