Pismo the weekend of June 2nd.

June 1st - 3rd

section525, clarkkent, my dad and I, so far, are planning on going that weekend. It's two weeks after the Moab trip, which I know a few of you are going to. If you guys are up for a relaxing beach run and want to ride some ATVs, this is the trip.

We tried to go last year and it never happened. I'm going to go either way.

I might be in for that. I just have to put in for the time off. I just hope my tires are good enough for sand. I have not tryed them out in the dirt at all yet.

i have been to pismo a few times, met up with clarkkent, it was awesome going out there. and this would be my first meet with people from the forum, so i will probably go, but i would come really late at night the 1st or early on the 2nd. so would camping be onthat campground mentioned above or right on the beach...i think on the beach would be cool.

also wondering how far in advance reservations need to be made for camping on the beach, maybe someone has camped there before. i planned to camp there one time not knowing i even needed reservations, so i couldn't. or can just one of us make a reservation for everyone when we know how many are definitely making the trip?

You need reservations to camp on the beach now? I know you're supposed to get a "ticket" showing that you paid to stay overnight, but I never had reservations before. I'll have to find out about that.

Maybe clarkkent will chime in since he lives there.

mounty71(matt), i think that time we needed reservations was because it was a biggg weekend. i think maybe it was the fourth of july or something. but june 2nd isnt gonna be big at all, so we'll be okay. just show up mid day and we'll be alright.

so my truck is supposed to be getting caged with new prp seats begining of may, so hopefully it'll be done

crossing fingers. no matter what, i'll show up even if its not done!
