A little last minute...my friend's racing his subaru rally car in Ridgecrest, CA tomorrow, which is out on the way to death valley. There's an OHV park out there called Spangler Hills, it's supposed to be huge. I just thought i'd extend an invitation to anyone who would want to go out and have some fun for the day. Las Vegas is probably a couple hours away or less so Nevadans could make it too. And in case anyone's interested, I was told anyone can race practically anything, just depending on the classes. It's a $40 entrance fee and you need a helmet with a snail rating higher than 95. Be on the lookout for these two:

Let...me...tell...you...anyone considering going that didn't missed out on an incredible day! Rally cross in WRC subarus (and the Jackson Rally Dirt Wagon from dezert rangers), rallying the mounty in California City, and doing 70+ mph down a dirt road alongside of HWY 395 in pitch black. We'll be heading out again soon, possibly over a weekend.

And just to clarify, the racing was actually a closed course track on some fairgrounds, not out in the desert like i was expecting. And we actually never made it to spangler hills ohv, after racing we went to california city instead. Next two races are Glen Helen (Cleghorn) and Johnson Valley.
 






make sure to post when the next ones come up, i wanna go. i wanted to go this time but i had like six sections of math that i was behind on and a test today. next time for sure
