I threw a dart at the calendar and came up with Sunday Oct 17th for the meet & eat.

Arthur Bryant's for the food

Ameristar Casino for the location

For parking and ease of access the one at Ameristar Casino makes the most sense. Now all we need to do is set a time. I'm thinking 1:00 but lets here what everyone has to say.

I prefer one of the top 3 places to meet, as for the when, I am pretty easy going. I work both Sat & Sun and will just take the day off depending on the time.
 






I know one thing. If anyone dares to suggest Famous Dave's it's off with their head. :D
 












Those be fightin words! Dave's is terrible. I say Joe's or Gates. But I'm not picky give me two slices of bread and BBQ sauce and I can eat anything.
 






Hell ya! I'm definitely game fo sum BBQ. I can eat it only minutes after just eating it. If I had to choose a day, I'd say anything but the Sept dates since that's my daughters birthday.

My vote is for Bryant's, for what it's worth.

So we're driving our trucks to this shindig, right? Boy I have some work to do in the next couple months.

Families invited or just the guys??

If just the guys, I know a real ****hole bar we could go hammer down some beers afterwards. The Twin on Stateline and Westport Rd.

KC Area gathering meeting place

I thought it would be easier if I added a poll for where we want to meet.
 


















I'm gonna try to make this. This is far enough in advanced I may be able to request off. I'm curious to see other area Explorers. If it ends up being on a saturday maybe we could go on a little cruise and what not. That may turn heads driving by and seein a convoy of Explorer/Mountaineers :D

Some of us aren't quite that old yet:D, two years will be just fine.






Hopefully if get the job I want once school starts it would be Sunday's only for me, unless it was Saturday night then I'd be golden.

I'm not as old as their usual clientell but then again I've been going there since I was 19. I get it, there are some youngens in our presence.
