Did they include the mounting brackets as well? I know my old 93 ex used only 2 bolts per side for a total of 4. It didnt come with bolts so i just picked up some grade 8 bolts that were about the same size as the holes on the guard.
I still need help with this install. I cant figure out how to mount the brush guard. I think that I am missing a a bracket but idk. Here are some pic of the guard and the brackets I got.
Looks like those two lower brakets should line-up with the frame behind the bumper mounts, 2 bolts each side. Look for pre-existing holes in the frame. They will either use holes already there or bolts already there such as the bumper braket.
Well I found that I was missing a bracket so we made some for it but now the problem is it just doesnt seem to look right. from the front it looks like the top is pushed in and the bottom comes out but its close to the bumber so idk how to fix it. Can someone with a 99 post a pic of how it sits with the bumper and how close so I can compare.
