How old are the plug wires?

Try swapping the coil packs side to side. 2 and 8 share the same coil internals and fire at the same time each rotation of the engine.

If the misfire moves to #3 and 5, then the coil pack is bad, if the fault remains, the ignition wires or coil control wiring.

The plugs are brand new I will try and swap the coil packs when I get home the coil pack atleast one is new guy who had it before me attempted to fix it by replacing wires and coil pack

So I swapped the coil packs misfire stayed on 2 and 8 so started to inspect the wires one had a melted and arced the side the the header swapped with a factory one running 50% better still misfireing tho getting a random multiple misfire code p0300 any ideas

Update

(Update)

Just drove it like 30 mins test drive the p0300 coded turned into a single misfire cylinder 8 p0308

Was the burned wire that you replaced on #8 ? That would be quite an unusual location - the most burn-prone wires are #3 and #4 (and they should have metal sleeves to protect them).

Help!!

It was the # 2 wire that was toasted the sleeve is on it but it was burnt bout 8 inches from the plug side of the wire was just ran incorrectly cleared all the codes running bad still better when no load on the motor once in gear it really acts funny

?

All plugs are band new only one had been damaged in the past few weeks it hasn't thrown a code since I replaced the faulty wire but still running rough

Have you replaced the plug wire on #8 ?

So now I'm just getting a random multiple misfire code only p0300 all plugs are in good shape I'm stumped

I suggest replacing the #8 plug wire, because the next step is the fuel injector. ;)

I have had similar issues and in my case it has always been the wires. My suggestion would be to replace the plug wires, carefully, routed correctly, with quality wires.

If you use Forscan, you can see the temp codes in the PCM before they trip the OBD code. May help reduce the time it takes for you to see a change in the misfire status after you change something on the engine.

So update still having issues getting her to run right been 3 days no misfire codes only code is a small evap leak that's pending so if you build rpm while in park it runs great but while under load or throttled fast it stumbles and loss of power

Check the pcv and the evap line that comes off the upper intake and goes down to a valve under the battery tray

Make sure you are using an app that can pull ALL the codes, not just the OBD codes.

Agreed. I had hoped the OP would pick up on that, since replacing one wire fixed half the problem.

Use a set of good premium wires. I'm going to assume the guy who replaced them earlier did not.

Also, pay close attention to the firing order when you install the new wires. Do not assume it is correct now.

Unfortunately he did not use good wire but a cheap 50 dollar set the thing that has me most confused is the first start up and run from dead cold it runs great don't skip a beat for 3 miles till it warms up or could that be a gasket or what would cause it to start skipping a beat it does have a exhaust leak semi bad and after 200 miles driving I'm still popping a #8 Misfire and a flashing cel here and there while driving if it helps I can take a video of the cold start while it runs perfect till to starts to act up it it would help finding the issue
