1991 Ford Aerostar with a coolant leak.

Hi folk, I have a really serious problem and I can't find out the the darn leak is dripping from. I replaced the water pump, tighten up all the hoses etc. but the water keeps on dripping from beneath the water pump somewhere. I even put a bottle of bar's stop leak and the darn thing is still leaking water. What could be the problem?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the Aerostar section. It sounds like the water pump is leaking coolant through the weep hole. Connect a cooling system pressure onto the cooling system to help locate the source of the leak. Autozone loans them with a deposit.

And check your heater hoses. I had a similar problem and it took me months to find it. In fact, I did not find it until it was actually spurting fluid all over the place. When I could hear the leak inside the van while driving, I knew it would be easy to find, and it was.
