2008 Explorer XLT Remote Feedback

I just bought this explorer and when you press the unlock button on the remote once it honks the horn twice. when you press the lock button the horn honks once. I don't mind the locking horn but everytime I unlock the door is driving me crazy. I have checked all the door and hatch sensors and everything seems fine. I think there is an aftermarket alarm system. Would that cause this? Is there a setting somewhere I can change to make it stay quiet when I unlock the doors from the remote? Thank you for any suggestions.

every ford I have ever played with only honks twice if you double lock the doors with a door open sounds like there is a short somewhere
