I have been disappointed in our MPG for a long time. In town driving was stuck at 13.3 MPG forever. I watched a few video's on people removing their fuel injectors, and using various methods to clean them. I was not OCD enough to do that. I did buy a gallon of Seafoam at autozone to try it my way. I ran the fuel down to the point the fuel calculator said I had 20 miles left in tank. I poured 1/2 gallon of seafoam in the tank, then drove several miles and put the pedal to floor a few times. I did not see immediate change, but after a month, i now register 15-17 city driving.

My gas gauge is unreliable, but I'd like to try something as I do a lot of short trip city driving. Wonder if it would make any difference in 3/8 of a tank (V6, 21 gal tank I think).

I use SeaFoam or MMO on a regular basis, but not every tank. It helps.
