99 Explorer v6, the front and rear lines are rusted pretty bad. Soon I'm going to replace them. Are the lines double or bubble flare?

Should be double flare.

The line nuts are they SAE or Metric thread?

That I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure the standard brake line fitting they use to couple lines together will fit.

I also reused some of my old fittings so long as they were not trashed.

Most of the lines out near the wheels are normal 3/8 double flare. But when you get up to the master cylinder and abs, you will find every combination of fittings possible. Most are bubble flare with metric nuts. 10mmX1.0, 12mmX1.0, 11mmX1.5.

I used normal flares on all mine and I don't have any leaks.
