OK - after a massive blow up of the compressor, I am working towards getting the system back up and running. I have two questions:

  1. Is there anything else that would need to be replaced other than the compressor, dryer, orifice tube, condenser, and rear expansion valve?
  2. Is it difficult to replace the rear expansion valve? Any special tools needed?

I am hoping the rear expansion valve is a simple swap out...

You got it all covered.

The rear expansion valve is a simple remove and replace. You just need to remove the rear plastic trim. In my case I need an impact to remove the seat belt bolt and a t50 torx.
