I have a '03 XLT with the standard radio. Not the 7-speaker premium radio nor the MP3.

When I hit the CD button twice in a row the display flashes "NO DJ". I assume that this is for an external CD carriage. Does anyone know if this radio is set-up for auxiliary inputs and if so, what type connection it would take?

I'm hoping to hardwire a connection to an external DVD or MP3 player throught RCA or 1/8" stereo plugs.

You can buy almost every Aux Converter at http://www.logjamelectronics.com/. I just installed one for my '04 with indash 6 changer through the Sat button. Works great and good service from LogJam.

Where is the CD charger plug located, behind the HU or in the rear?

Thanks guys. I'll be getting the P.I.E. FRDN-AUX.

I assume that once it's installed, pressing the CD button for the second time will select the Aux inputs.
