CD player wont load wont eject

Previously a CD was jammed so i removed the radio unit and removed all the cds, but now when i put it all back together it says there is 6 disks still in the player, although their are really none. It wont let me Eject or load cds. Im tired of the radio! There's no good music on the radio!

My 06 Fusion had the same problem... twice. Both times were under warranty. They delership said the only thing they could do for it was replace the stereo.

There are some really good Double-Din receivers out there for not too much money. You can throw all your CD's on a flash drive and play them with most of the ones with a USB port.

You miss-aligned the trays, remove it, realign'em and plug it back in, if it works yay! if not, most likely time for a new HU

or repair? Mine is going 4 years now on the fix.
