i just purchased a 1997 mercury mountaineer awd, i bought it understanding there was a noise under heavy accelaration. well of course its coming from the transfer case. my first choice was to get a rebuild kit but i live in germany an i cant find one .question one does any one know what site i could get one from, second has anyone converted one from awd to 4wd. oh to add pain to this situation being overseas the military postal has a certain weight an height allownce thats why i didnt just buy another. HELP.
