Extra links on rear axle, when did they appear ?

Like the title says, when did the extra links appearon explorers ?
I have a 2000 Limited, which has them, and I am trying to find another housing that has them, and it'd be easier if I knew when they showed up..
eg. would a 98 Eddie Bauer have them ?

If you're asking about the factory anti-windup bars (traction bars), those are 5.0L Explorer only.

Well that would certainly explain some things then.
Also makes my quest for another housing easier. I don't really need one, I could straighten mine out, but it just seems easier.

Anyone have a source for the “anti-windup”/traction bar bushings? Can’t find them on RockAuto, would like to avoid the dealer. Had no idea these existed before I bought my V8 Ex...
