Ford Racing EGR spacer

Has anyone tried the EGR spacer? Curious what it may do. I've heard the intake plenum spacer may be worth while, but haven't seen anyone do the EGR. I am assuming that the X has the 65mm TB on it- that's what I've gathered- so the EGR spacer should fit. Also- anyone tried the GT-40 upper intake? Seems that should flow alot more air than the pseudo-cobra ones we have now.

If I am correct it is to adapt the throttle body on a 87-93 mustang to the intake manifold. I had to get one for my 93 when I put a bigger throttle body on it.
