Seems my front control interface module makes a cracking sound every 12 to 15 min when the heat is on.
For those who do not know what the front control interface module is, this is the panel that houses the fan speed, temp controls and so on located in the front center dash.
The manual states if there is something wrong with any of the components the assembly must be replaced.
Does anyone have this similar cracking sound on their explorer? If so did you have it fixed?
