Is there a company that sells a complete front end rebuild kit? Ball joints, tie rods and bushings etc...

Check eBay. Got a full kit for my '97 there. Otherwise, just buy them all individually at a parts place.

from ebay

That seems like a really good price.

2 Lower Ball Joints.
2 Upper Control Arms with Ball Joints (Trucks with the 2 piece passenger side control arm)
2 Inner Tie Rod Ends ( Inner Socket or Rack End ).
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends.
2 Front Sway Bar Links.

Does the explorer have a 2 piece control arm?

Is the driver side different from the passenger side?

Duralst shows the same looking control arm for both but Rare shows a different one for the passneger side and it looks like what the ebay add has.

I'm confused:confused:

Well go take a look at your truck then.:D

I just bought that exact kit from that seller 2 weeks ago. Not sure if it's different for your 2000, but on my '97, the truck has a two-piece passenger side control arm. It is different from the drivers side. The drivers side is one piece which connects to the frame and has the ball joint on it. The passenger side had one piece and then a second piece bolted to that which has the ball joint. What you get is the outer part with the ball joint, not the inner one which connects to the frame. Hope this helps.

Anytime. Just make sure you double check somehow on the passenger side. It may be different for a 2000 5.0. Maybe you can phone a friend or someone near your truck to check it out for you.

Digging up an old post here... I bought the same Ebay front end rebuild and installed in September 08.

I discovered yesterday that one of the front swaybar endlinks had a busted bushing. It's just hanging on there and the bar clunks when I take left turns.

I didn't do any offroad driving. I hope the rest of the kit fairs better. I hate replacing things twice.
