Ditto. The guy at the dealer is wrong (as usual). In states that require them, ALL new vehicles have to be equipped with them. In Ohio, they can't even charge for it. It's installed as a part of the prep if it's not there from the factory. Mine's actually been there since day-1 and never had a thing on it. I've bumped a brick wall with it, and jammed a saw horse through the garage wall with it, so it's saved at least its value in bumper touch-up paint.
