Heat constantly from vents

In my '97 EB there is constantly hot air coming out of the vents. At first it seemed like it was just the defrost, then defrost and floor, now its coming out of the dash vents too. It was nice in December, but not now.

It does this with the EATC off

Turning the EATC on, it functions normally, blowing air out of where ever I want it too, defrost, vent, floor, but it comes out of these locations in addition to the air wafting out of the other places.

If its a vacuum issue, Im not sure where to start.

Anybody have any ideas?

It sounds like the blend door.

Does the AC come on at all or does it still blow hot air? It does sound like it's a blend door problem. They make a kit to fix that I believe.

Blend door & ac worked fine last i checked. Ive recently started driving it again after an engine swap, and the ac was discharged, so I cant tell you if it is still cold now. I do know that it was fine before though.
