Why do things break when you need them most?

This week got cooler (after Lee dumpped tons of rain & some tornadoes)... so a couple of days back I went to turn the heat on and all I got was just a clicking noise (coming from the dash almost under/behind the radio)... the air blows but it does not heat up...

when I turn the nob to cold, the clicking noise kinda goes away....

any ideas?

I'm a d.i.y.-guy but I know nothing about AC/heat... I jus tknow how to put freon...

My best guess would be its the blend door actuator. Rondo has a how to on fixing this. Here's a link to that how to
