Hello,
Im a new guy here. I just bought a 2004 Explorer Limited. First Ford. I was a Dodge guy for years and was going to buy a Durango with a Hemi. The more I looked for a used one, I found out every body was selling them due to alot of problems. I test drove the Durango and loved the Hemi. But I decided to search the internet and consumer reports and found the Explorer to be rated much higher. Hmm. So I test drove a 2004 Limited 4.6L V8 And fell in love!!
It's hardly any weaker on power than the Hemi, and it handles much better, and the ride is smoother and quieter. So I bought it on the spot!! I have it 2 months now and i am very happy with it. Jay. P.S. I need
to trade the 1 1/4" hitch bumper for a 2" hitch bumper.
