Help I dont know what to do!!!

ok so here is the deal the tensors (i think is what my mechanic said) went out and the timingbelt is missed up he said if he fixed it he couldnt gurantee that it would run right. and there is metal shavings in the oil. so should i part it out or put a new motor in it. its the4.6 the tranny waas rebuilt last year. and i have a full magnaflow exhaust from y pipe to the cat back and a kn cai im pretty sure if i parted it out i could get decent money for all that.

keep your current setup...and see if you can find a 4.6 from a junkyard Ex. that way you can keep your tranny that was just rebuilt and also put all your bolt-ons on there without losing any money
