Basically the OP is saying that a 12,000 lb HF Badlands winch is mechanically the same as a 12,000 lb Warn winch.

$319, I always see coupons in Mags, their ads and tv for $299 for the 12k lb. winch.

It's still a good deal, not sure why it's $20 more in that coupon. I really like my 12k lb badlands winch. Go for it if you need a winch.
