Hitch the same 91 - 00?

I was calling around today to try to find a used hitch for my 92. I found one nearby on a 97. At first, I thought I needed to stay with 91 - 94, but Draw-Tite shows the same part number for all through 2000. Does this sound right?

$40 for this one and they're going to pull it.

BTW...one yard I called said, "you don't want to tow with that rig. The transmission is like glass and you'll destroy it for sure". Anything to this? I know my dad had to have this one's tranny rebuilt (it has 165k miles) already. I will be towing a utility trailer with a riding lawn mower from Olympia, WA to Idaho Falls, ID.

BTW2...the 60/40 bench seat in mine is a bit broken down on the driver's side. Would the same junk-yard 97 be a good donor for seats if they're good?

They are the same.. I would make sure you have a aux. transmission cooler before towing regardless of the weight your pulling.
