So I'm ordering http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=52200&i=1086822CF&tp=92 these, I'm getting 2 pairs. I was just wondering how many watts is too much for an amplifier to power these? For now I will just use my alpine 9883 HU, but I want to get the full 60 watts these can handle. I was thinking maybe this amp: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=120&i=489AP740&tp=115
would maybe be too much because at 2 ohms it's pushing 90 watts rms. So really what I need to know is how much is to much? thanks!

You should be fine. One speaker per channel is how you are planning on running them, correct?

You don't need to worry about the 2 ohm watts in the 'one speaker per channel' setup.

Helps me out too

Ahhh crap. TOTALLY missed that. Sorry WP7456.

Thanks guys I think I've decided on the Profile Cl440 right off Profiles site for only $68. Now where is the cheapest place to buy the wiring I need for this?
