Mileage problem - looking for help

Hi,

I have 2003 XLT 4X4 with K&N Intake. I love this truck but I think that it burns little to much of gas. The best I can get is 11 mpg . Can anybody tell me what may be the problem?

I have a 98 sport 2 wheel drive, and i get about 17. the only thing i can think of is your driving habits, how hard you stomp on it and if you use the air all the time. also, your air pressure in your tires can make a difference. also, i would think you would get a little better with the intake. do you do a lot of stop and go driving? those are the only things i can think of. good luck in getting more milage.

how many miles on it?... do you keep up on all the maintanence... AKA tune up's
