I haven't seen anything like that, but it would be very cool. I guess you could probably do it with some small servo motors and A LOT of inginuity. The motors would need to have stops on them. The opening mechanism could work with sliders...hmm. Summer project! Hehehe.

Well, It might not be to hard to do. I know that the Expedition has power jump windows for the rear. You might could use the same motor for the sport. Next you would need switches. Easy again a factory power window pad for a 4dr explorer.

I thought I read some where that the new sports had power ones. Any body with a 98 or 99 that has these?

I emailed www.fordpartsnetwork.com last night, they already wrote me back:

"Alec,

Its quite possible. The motorized window motors from a the rear windows of a
windstar of expedition / navigator might work. I know there is no retrofit
kit available from Ford but you might be able to piece it together on your
own.

F75Z 7830478-AC RH expedition rear window regulator / motor $98.99
F75Z 7830478-AC LH expedition rear window regulator / motor $89.99
F5TZ 14529-AA Explorer lh 4 door switch assy $ 39.99
F5TZ 14524-N 4 door LH graphite switch plate $16.99

Above this you might need to fabricate some mounting brackets, wiring w/
relays and you might be in business.

Take care,

I don't know yet if I'm gonna try it. $250 is a lot for that sort of thing.
