I'm preparing to replace many suspension and drive train parts. How can I determine whether my 1999 Explorer XLT 4WD is OHC or SOHC - does it matter?
Things being replaced are:
-->Ring & Pinion Seal
-->Axel Bearing Kit(s)
-->Differential Plate Gasket
-->Upper & Lower Control Arms, Bushings and Ball Joints
-->Tie Rod Bushings
-->Intake manifold and gasket
-->Front Bearings
-->Thermostat & possibly thermostat housing
-->what ever is causing my 'check engine lean' error
No...I am not doing the work on my own. I've a good friend who is an accomplished mechanic.
Until the next time...
