Oil Milkshake?

While changing my oil...
I noticed oil milkshake under my fill cap. However the used oil & filter
seemed to have a very normal (black) appearance. My coolant level
is always the same and I don't notice anything leaking.
Any suggestions?:scratch:

On the oil fill cap it is normal to have some of that.

yup.. its from airated oil spray from inside the valve covers. err somethin like that.

short duration trips will cause this too.
my wife's '00 taurus has had it since new, except when I drive the car on my longer commute and the condensation has enough time to burn off.
