I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a 99 Explorer Sport with 100K on it. I'm looking to replace some of the front end parts. Tie Rod ends for sure. Where do you guys get your parts, I just need OEM, Is it better to just go the the Local Auto Store?
TIA

When it comes to front end parts on an Explorer your better of with a quality part other than Ford. IMHO Fords tie rod ends and ball joints suck. I use Moog and that was one of the best things I did on my 99 Sport. Moog ball joints and tie rod ends are greasable unlike the Ford parts. My local NAPA has the Moog parts.
