Curious to see aftermarket installs, as I am contemplating replacing my oem stereo.

Thanks.

I saw one that had an OBD2 plug and software, but if you have bluetooth and most of them seem to you can get a BT dongle to plug into the OBD2 port.

Zero complaints about this head unit and enjoy the volume knob as opposed to volume buttons, but kicked myself in the ass from day one for being cheap and not getting the GPS model :frustrate

If you have an Android phone you can order a obd2 bluetooth dongle from Amazon and then use the app Torque from the Play Store...

I use it and it will read almost everything on my 98

Dongle - 16 dollars

Torque - sorry don't know... I just see Purchased and don't remember

I pulled out my pioneer because it was too flashy and this looks more like a factory piece. Plus I only use the bluetooth and radio anyway, so I didn't need anything fancier

I am forever impressed with your work... By the way, nice touch with the EF logo on the head unit.

Thanks Al. Anytime you need any custom stuff like that, let me know.

I can't take credit for the image on the radio. I got the idea and pic from a thread around here somewhere.

Like someone else, I went with the Pioneer AVH-4000 NEX. Very happy. :)
