power windows

does anyone know why my power windows wont roll down on all four windows? but my doork loock buttons work? i have a 99 explorer xlt 4x4 4dr!

You probably have a broken wire either at the door or down on the floor, under the floor mat. Check at the big black canister on the door. there is a bolt under the top plastic cap.

i replaced the switch and didnt work fix it, are there any fuses or relays i could check, also the black box how do i get in to that and fix it if the wire is broke?

check your owner's manual for fuses, relays and their locations. more that likely you've got a broken wire in the driver's door jam. common problem.

thanks guys for the help, and yes a broken wire is what the cause was! blue and black wire! in the door jam in the rubber boot
