Rear Shock Replacement 2010 Sport Trac

I would like to replace my rear shocks. Anyone out there that can give me some guidance? Is it best to do the whole assembly including coils?

It would be the same process for the most part either direction you take. The entire assembly needs to be removed. Removing the spring from the shock is not hard, just required a spring compressor. I would say if you could find a good deal on a complete assembly go that route, unless you are wanting an aftermarket performance shock.

You can get a spring compressor at Princess Auto for a few bucks. Being from the birthplace of Princess Auto that shouldnt be a problem for ya
