Roof Rack - Using the channels question

Our roof-rack has a channel in it. It looks like they are designed for some type of "T" headed screw and a nut or thumbscrew.

Anyone using this type of fastener to secure things to the roof-rack?

What's your setup ? Measurements or specifics on your fasteners ?

You'll need the little silver threaded square bolts. They're part number 551A48 in the FPN picture I posted. I"m sure you could find similar threaded square nuts in home depot or somehting that would work just fine.
