Steering Column Rebuild

I am having issues with my steering column, something is binding when I turn the wheel and the ignition key is not returning to run from the start position. I replaced the lock cylinder and still have the same issue with the key. What I am wondering is are there any rebuild kits available for the steering column? I did a quick web search and found lots of rebuilt columns but no kits for the explorer. My local Ford dealer is not much help when it comes to my 95 Explorer, they want me to have something much newer.............. so I am not sure where to look. Any ideas would be welcome!

you might want to contact this forum member to see if he's got a good used column. i don't think you're going to have much luck locating rebuilding parts.
