torque converter

I had my buddy get me a rebuilt trans from where he works for my 95 explorer but he couldnt get a torque converter. So now i hafe to buy a new one and im looking on ebay for a cheap one. My question is they all say they are for all the transmissions in the explorers, was just wondering if they were all the same converter or what?

sorry about the rambling up there. All i need to know is do i hafta buy a 4r55e specific converter or will any of the explorer converters work?

Make sure that you get the correct one for your vehicle. Contact the seller before you bid. A local rebuilder would have one for half the price of one on EBay.
