Tow Bar On Bumper

Does any one know how much weight i could pull with a tow ball bolted through the hole in my rear bumper the metal here is realy thick and looks very strong.

98 sohc in UK.

In the US, the bumpers are rated as a Class II hitch capable of towing up to 3500lbs. Not sure if they put the same bumpers on European Explorers, but I would suspect they do.

Beware thought that they are only rated 350lbs tongue weight on the same bumpers. They can tow 3500lbs pulling back on them but only support 350lbs pushing down on them.
