I have replaced both the lower ball joints on my explorer, that was probably about 6000 miles ago, and at the time the upper ball joints were still tight. But now I'm starting to hear a squeak from the front end when on a bumpy road, so I'm getting concerned that the upper ball joint on the drivers side may be getting ready to kill over. I've check the inside of both the tires and there not wearing any, but could the upper ball joints still be really bad.
