I like both red and black for a DD. My 97 X was red.
But for a trailed out X Satin Black or any other trail rig for that matter.

Tan is the best! My 94 XLT and my girlfriend's 01 sport are both tan.

IMO, you can't go wrong with this color... The blue against the black trim looks awesome!

Nothign like a blacked out Explorer.

I never see black Explorers but a couple weeks ago I saw an 08/09 in all black. It was really nice looking. Ford dealer has a brand new 11 black Explorer. New body will need to grow on me.

Tan is the best! My 94 XLT and my girlfriend's 01 sport are both tan.

My 02 is tan but its a very hard color to match. The metallic does look nice in the sun.

now I feel left out......

NO Cammo!:D

Black or Wedgewood Blue`01 Sport is about the best looking combo..

Ryan

My daughters 00 Explorer is wedgewood blue. I like that color, too.

I would say my favorite color, which wasn't an option, is a charcoal or dark grey. I voted black because it's closest, but I like shades of grey.

Wedgewood Blue was my favorite until a saw a Pearl White Limited up close...

Yeah I like CAMMO !!! This was after driving it for a week of rain, still had that much left on it. (older picture)

Or how it looks now all black and cleaned up !!!

you forgot silver. Or maybe it's just that everyone knows silver is nobody's favorite color, lol.

My Eddie B is the Dark Green over Tan, but I've always have really liked the pearl paint on the Limited.

I bought my '06 used, and had to settle for Dark Stone Clearcoat Metallic. But if I had my choice, it would have been:

Dark Cherry Clearcoat Metallic

Black is classy, but Dark Cherry is classic on this vehicle. When you think of a '64 GTO, it's Midnight Blue. They came in other colors, but that's the "classic" color. The Mustang Mach 1 was Red with Black Striping and the Boss 302 was Yellow with Black. A '55 F150 was Red, and the Generation IV Explorer is best exemplified by the Eddie Bauer Dark Cherry and Tan trim.

pretty much every car in the world looks good in glossy black
