This is the break down of the volt regulator.From left to right. 1 brushes 2 brush hood and retaining torx screws Brush hood should be cleaned whith Q-tips and soap and water only,some electrical cleaners will crack the plastic!.3 voltage regulator.4 chip cover from front of voltage reg. when re-assymbling be sure use silicone when snapping cover back on.
