Will the Mounty Grill from a 98 swapp direct to a 98 X?

The HC Airdam? Would that replace the lower part of my bumper ("chrome" and plastic were current lights go) or install even lower???

95 Cobra R rims
Dunlop Sport Rover GTX 255/55 17 came on the truck and balding when I got it two months ago
I would like something with a bit more side wall for the unforgiving potholed streets of San Juan yet aggressive and sticky enough so they dont spin and squell when Im "getting blown".

In order to mount the Grill from the mounty to your Ex you will need to order the header, lights, corner lenses, and the grill from the mounty.

You also need the little sliver underneath the grille.

The air dam will replace the platic piece that goes around your fog lights. Not the chrome(actual bumper) section.

grilled

The 97 and earlier mounty grilled used the same headlights, etc. In 98 they changed it and the head light slants in the oppisite direction than the X.So to use the 98-up mounty grill you do have to change everything.Hope this helps.

the header panel includes that little sliver under the grille that you mentioned. You need the header panel, headlights, corners, grille, radiator "cover" -i'm not sure what they call the top piece that fits over the grille so you can't see down behind it, and a little time to modify the lights to work right. Other than that it is an easy bolt on.

as for the honest charley air dam- are you sure you want to use that one? i just don't think it fits the lines quite right. Eitehr way mount it down below.

also, in order to suggest tires i need to know if your steeda is 2wd or 4wd. I'm guessing 2wd but i want to be sure.

here are a couple pictures of the conversion on my '96, and my custom bumper (which i have just recently begun to redo once again to make it quite a bit more custom and match the custom body kit i've built)
