Meet before Spring

Not sure of the exact address but here is the general area Lanternhill Rd Ledyard Ledyard CT

John
yeah shes right down the road. Next time your over her place with your rig. Follow the google map. Shoot up to rt 2 west. then 201 north, to 165 east. Once you see 49 north, take it and then a quick right at the y in the road. Its a dead end. At the end of the road is where the trails start. Im taking a ride out there tomorrow to see how the trails look. They should be good because a friend of a friend goes out there often with his chainsaw to make sure everything is good and open.

Hey John
I took a ride out there today and the trails look good. I didnt hit any of the tough ones because I was alone without a winch. I took a couple of pics so you could see how open some of the trails are. Check it out next time you visit you aunt. But make notes where you make turns. there is alot of trails and its easy to get a little turned around out there.

There are tighter, tougher trails out there, But like I said I was alone and no winch

Thanks for the pics... looks kinda easy, but I can understand about not wanting to get stuck without some recovery equip... did you regear when you went up to 33s?

Yeah there is alot of nasty stuff in there also. My buddys and I are trying to put something together with in the next week or 2. I will post some pics of the ugly stuff then. As I was leaving, I ran into a convoy of rigs. They asked me to join along but my tank was on E so I had to bolt.
As for the gears I am still running the 3.73 ls with no noticeable power loss. Though I havent towed my trailer yet. I bet once I tow Ill be thinking at least a 4.10 jump will be in order. Ill let you know

I'm sure the 302's torque doesn't hurt your power at the wheels. I've had my 4.56s in my rig for almost a year with my body lift still in a box, waiting for the time and (now) weather to do it, or just the money to have someone do it so i can get these 31s off and 33s on. I feel no loss of power either! :D

(Wish I could say the same for my gas mileage.....)

Hey Issac
I swear it seems like I have way more torque since the 33's. I know its impossible, but it sure feels like I do. If you do not have a garage then I would wait until we get a few warm days before you attempt the body lift. I know some here have installed there body lifts in there driveways in 6-8 hours. But mine took over 20 hours in a heated (thank god) garage with air tools. My advise is to start lubing your body mount bolts now! If you need any help or advise when you do it let me know while its all still fresh in my mind.
Do you have any pics of your rig? Actually we need to get a page up on the site with everyones rig pics & mods, maybe mugshots
See ya

Oh and my gas mileage also sucks now with the 33's. I still have my old rims and tires for those long trips to florida and such.
How are the 4.56's on the highway?

I have another suggestion as well that a few of us have discussed. Would people rather do 2 seperate meets? One for the Northern club members & one for the Southern members? That way we are not tiring ourselves out driving & sitting & all that bologny.
