2014 Dash has BUTTONS!!!!

I went to my local for dealer yesterday to look at the explorers on the lot to my surprise they had a few 2014's on the lot that were unlocked so I looked inside and notice the dash now comes with some buttons.

I also saw the real controls for the heated seats but it did not dawn on my so snap a pic of that

I'm confused. What do you mean? There were always those buttons on the dash.

Oh... my mistake I thought thought they had none I saw somewhere on the forms someone talking about them adding buttons and knobs on the center console.

That's the standard inside for the non Sony stereo.

Like 1995E, I was also wondering what changed. It looks like the same old, same old, features. I have read however, that Ford does plan to re introduce more control buttons figuring the jump to the current system was a bit rushed.

A friend of mine just bought a new Lincoln MKZ and the dealer told him they were going to buttons again starting next year. Apparently a lot of problems with those as well

Ford had a press release about this recently. This is based on feedback from people saying they wanted dedicated buttons for the most common features.

The touch buttons look nice, but I'd take the physical buttons in a heartbeat!
