Just thought I'd share some pics of my roof rack that I made
Materials:
1/2in EMT Conduit(4-10foxt pieces) <may vary depending on size you want
90 Degree Elbows(8 of them)
Rivets and Rivet Gun
Tape measurer
Something to cut the pipe
Drill and bits

Okay I made mine 48Lx38Wx4H
You can make yours what ever size you want.
I didn't take too many pictures of the process but its very simple and also he is a video that I used http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNihF2Q2RD0 also this series http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAH2McStyyU

I have the existing rack still so I think I might put that back on and find a way to attach it to that, I'll post pics when I do

Yep...I wish I had a welder and one day I will...but until then, gotta make do with what I can. I made a decent basket rack with conduit as well. Link is in signature. I do like the flooring of the rack, since I have no flooring.
