Modified 2011-2019 Explorer - Not Sport

Hey guys,

Is there a sub-forum for us that do not have the Sport variant?

If there is no one now... (which I doubt) with modified non-sport variants, there will be lots to come...

Can we get a sub-forum for our vehicle types..

The modified forum within the 5th gen is for all Explorers. Despite it saying "sport", there are threads there for the jon turbo as well as the Platinum.

You mean a 97 XLT?
As blwnsmoke mentioned the "modified" subforum is for all Explorers. I believe the "Sport tuning" was there when it was the only one with the Ecoboost engine. I'll see about getting title edited.

Figured as much. Welcome to the 5th Generation.
I sent a PM to the site admin to see if the name of that subforum could be edited. Things may get a little more confusing when the 2020 models (6th gen?) come out in June.

Yeah I'm kind of wondering if I should have waited, I just look the look of these latest gen headlights.

I got it with 20,000km on it, full warranty, 6 oil changes and they threw in 2x led light bar installs behind the grille, once I decide where to place them..

I think I did pretty good for $36,750CAD

Nice. Not sure if you've seen this thread; 5th Gen w/LED Light Bars..... may give you some ideas.

Thanks, much appreciated. I had the front grille painted black within a few hours of taking ownership, I didn't like my beige grill on an all black truck. Debadged the rear too.

I think I've gone over that post 10x looking for ideas.

I love the semi-military look of the interceptors, was hoping to go a direction somewhat similar with my bars, maybe try to hide them behind the grill, but I haven't seen anyone install 2x back there..

There's not a ton of clearance behind the grille before those opening louvers, still trying to find a super slim bar
