Just traded my 18 sport for a 21 ST

They gave me enough to cover the buyout so I got out of the 18 free and clear. Got an atlas blue ST 401A with no moonroof and no roof rails. It was the only ST w/o roof rails or moonroof from NYC to Chicago. Sticker was 55,735 with rebates and x-plan discount I got it for 51 and change. I have to get ready to go to work so I'll post some pics of it tomorrow.

Awesome to hear! What’s the x plan discount? Glad to see you got some other discounts though. I had a dealer try to tack on $2k to the price for market adjustment.

what made you want to ditch the 18?

The 18 was a lease, I had to buy it outright or turn it in by December 20. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the 18, but I planned on dumping it at the end of the lease anyway. I never really liked the 18, it was a stopgap until I could get a 20+ ST. When i got the 18, I knew the 20's were coming but they were about 6 months away and I needed a new DD so I settled for the 18 sport. And by leasing it, that allowed me to bypass the first year glitches and get a 21 instead.

When I get home in the morning I can post up what the x plan discount was, along with A, D and Z if anyone is interested, I have a copy of the invoice. Being an X plan participant, you are entitled to a copy of the invoice and I've gotten it with every ford I bought or leased for the last 20 years.

Had no idea about those prices. Thanks. Not sure I qualify for any though lol I do work a very large hospital but not sure they would participate in one of these groups. Probably just have negotiate the price down the old fashion way.

The different plans are as follows

A plan is for actual Ford employees such as assembly line workers and engineers
Z plan is for retirees from ford
D plan is for dealership employees
X plan is for suppliers, stock holders, etc.

It's rather obvious that A and Z plan get the biggest discount while X plan the lowest.

There would be 4 different shades of blue but my daughter graduated Cleveland State and moved to VA and took her car with her. It's a 2016 blue candy focus. I have a pic of the car, but not with the others.

That was at the dealer the day it came in, we had to special order it. There were no loaded focus titanium's in blue candy to be found. What was out there were basic SE models.

Well they finally got around to doing the CPO inspection and detailing it and the dealer has my old one on the used lot for 37,997

Love the Atlas blue. Went with the same for my 21 Limited. Hoping we're finally done with the pollen after all the rain this weekend
