Yep the little ones on right and left when I remove the center.

Removing the center one should not affect the ones on the right and left, The ones on the right and left set down flush into their place or you can stand them up and slide them into the slot vertically

Maybe I just gotta push them in to secure better. Cool. I never realized you could do vertically.

You can flip them carpet Facing-up or carpet facing-down
