I have read discussions about a light in shelf below the Display. Yet I cannot find or feel a light socket in there. I just feel two cables I assume for the display. A picture is included, is there a light in that area?

I don't believe there is, at least it hasn't been mentioned as far as I know. Where did you read about it?

Yes there is a light in there …
The owner's manual states that the power to the 3rd row seats stays on 10 minutes after you close the door and that's why the switches are illuminated and the cubby hole is lit up. And no you cannot disable that 💡 however you can reach up on the upper console and disable the rest of the interior lights that stay on after you close your door but the light in the cubbyhole will continue to stay on for 10 minutes even if you disable the rest of the interior lights

we discussed it earlier in a thread titled ”interior lights stay on.”

Thanks, and that may be my source for my question. But my light is not working, and I can't locate where the bulb, led, may be.

Swing by your local Ford dealership The parts department should be able to pull up on there computer where that bulb is located.

you could also take a smart phone lay it up in that cubbyhole and take a picture in selfie mode and you might be able to see where the bulb is located

Didn't think of that, thank you so much

Thank you. Good to know. My Aviator doesn't have that space below the screen. So it goes OFF when the Battery Saver Program kicks in.

Welcome to the Forum.
I would think that if the light was on then you may have a problem. The Battery Saver feature is supposed to shut off all rights except the parking lights, after 10 minutes when the ignition is turned off.
