Help me decide color for 2nd set of rare Saleen Aluminum (Speedline 1908 Magnesium Style) rims

Part 4 - Rare set (1 of 60) Saleen “Magnesium Style” rims back from media blasting.

These alloy Saleen rims came from Saleen XP8 Ford Explorer 00-0032 which was scrapped due very bad rust. The rims have now went to be chemically stripped and then went to be media blasted. Upon very close inspection there are some spots of lighter pitting which are typical of rims that were exposed to harsh elements for many years. The next step will be to address any surface imperfections to achieve a smooth finish prior to Powder Coating.

Part 7 - Rare set (1 of 60) Saleen “Magnesium Style” rims - powder coating in progress

The Saleen rims finally had the restoration process completed by @tarheel_powder_coating and now are being powder coated (matching to @bigwhitefordexplorer ) in Pearl White powder coating. We selected HD Pearl White by @prismaticpowders as the closest match.

Finally decided on a color for my second set of wheels. They went to be powder coated today!!!

This very rare (1 of 60) set of Genuine Saleen Speedline style wheels went to the powder coating company today.

Several months ago I posted up about trying to choose a color for the second set of wheels to be installed on Big White Ford Explorer. Currently Big White is running the set of Saleen Speedline magnesium wheels from Saleen (XP8) Ford Explorer 98–0022.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to buy this second set of rims and was having a hard time trying to decide what color I wanted to put on them. Thank you to everyone for their input and photoshops on the color choice.

I decided to go with the Pearl White to match the factory paint on Big White.

Part 8 - Rare set (1 of 60) Saleen “Magnesium Style” rims - **FINISHED**

The Saleen rims finally had the restoration process completed by @tarheel_powder_coating and have been powder coated (matching to @bigwhitefordexplorer ) in Pearl White powder coating. As far as I know this is the first time these Saleen wheels/rims have ever been done in matching Ford late 90’s / early 2000’s Ford Pearl White.

This is a process that took a year and a half and I’m glad it’s finished.

Next step - fit Saleen center caps, lugs, tires and install on Big White Ford Explorer
